Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC in the United States is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer with DevSecOps expertise to design, build, and operate secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting Army systems, including EKS and EC2, with focus on availability, security, and performance.

This role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with AWS services, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and security tooling integrated into pipelines; strong scripting in Python or Bash is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in DevOps/DevSecOps or Cloud/Systems Engineering with production experience.
• Hands-on AWS with deep knowledge of EKS and EC2.
• CI/CD experience using GitLab CI/CD.
• Python or Bash for automation.
• Security tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to mentor juniors and collaborate with QA leads.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab with DevSecOps gates.
• Standardize deployment templates and workflows to improve velocity.
• Deploy and scale ERP testing platforms (Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, LiveCompare).
• Manage hybrid deployments across EKS and EC2.
• Manage and scale AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS).
• Enforce cloud security controls (IAM, VPC, least privilege).
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for testing infra.
• Troubleshoot environment failures and performance bottlenecks.
