Job summary
The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead DevOps and cloud initiatives from our hybrid Michigan area office. You will partner with architects and engineers to design, implement, and promote cloud-based solutions (AWS and GCP) and DevOps practices across global infrastructure projects.
The role demands 8+ years of enterprise systems expertise, strong Linux administration, and hands-on IaC, automation, and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience overseeing mission critical enterprise systems.
- 5+ years’ experience administering Linux based systems.
- Experience with AWS and GCP cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Promote and provide expert guidance to teams on Agile development and infrastructure principles.
- Plan, design, implement, and educate on DevOps tools and cloud platforms.
- Identify and implement process improvements to support DevOps and cloud usage.
- Track and provide feedback to teams on DevOps adoption.
- Provide direction for infrastructure, security, deployment, scaling, metrics, and IT operations.
- Conduct technology reviews and internal audits to ensure solutions meet business and security needs.
