Accelerant seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. You’ll lead end‑to‑end projects, collaborate with teams, and drive IaC with Terraform, containers with Kubernetes, and observability practices. Remote (U.S.) with leadership responsibilities in Technology Services.

Experience in Insurance/Financial services is a plus; strong technical depth and a continuous improvement mindset are essential for this senior IC role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years cloud/infrastructure in production.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and supporting Azure and AWS.
• Proven leadership on large cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of networking, IAM, security, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Define technology direction and lead end-to-end cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams on enterprise projects.
• Develop IaC with Terraform for reproducible environments.
• Lead containerized platform efforts using Kubernetes, AKS/EKS.
