Job summary

PURE Insurance seeks a Senior Security Analyst – Cloud Security to own and improve cloud security controls across AWS and Azure. You will implement, operate, and enhance cloud security capabilities, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with engineering teams to reduce risk.

The role emphasizes incident response, alert triage, and governance activities aligned with NIST CSF, SOC 2, and PCI DSS requirements. Remote-US with onsite first week per policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity or cloud security experience.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments.
• Experience with Azure security services and controls.
• Strong understanding of IAM, CSPM, SIEM, EDR/XDR concepts.
• Experience investigating security events and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own, operate, and maintain cloud security capabilities across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain cloud security standards, baselines, and secure configurations.
• Monitor CSPM and cloud telemetry within SIEM and security platforms.
• Investigate alerts, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to embed secure-by-design practices.
