Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native microservices on AWS from a remote location. Ideal candidates will bring deep AWS experience, strong Python/Scala coding skills, and a track record of building scalable IAM integrations.

The role is remote (EST preferred) with a ~12-month duration and USC/GC eligibility. Compensation is hourly ($60–$70) with a possibility of full-time conversion depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
• Strong programming background in Python, Scala, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native microservices in AWS.
• Integrate enterprise SaaS and third-party vendor products into IAM ecosystems.
• Drive DevOps best practices and automation across cloud environments.
• Support highly visible identity and access control platforms used across the organization.
