Job summary

Inductive Automation is seeking a cloud engineer to design and implement scalable cloud systems and architectures. You will collaborate with Software and Sales Engineering to shape cloud policies and strategy, working across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud development, infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and CloudFormation, and managing container workloads on Kubernetes and AWS Fargate.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on AWS, Linux/Unix, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with container orchestration on EKS, ECS, and Fargate, plus monitoring tools like DataDog, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with Software Engineering and Sales Engineering to design and implement cloud systems.
• Design and manage Inductive Automation's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Develop and modify scalable architecture on IaaS and PaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and CloudFormation, and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes and AWS Fargate.
