Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to design and govern enterprise cloud solutions on AWS and Azure in a NJ location.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, build scalable CI/CD pipelines, and guide engineering and business stakeholders through architecture decisions. You will evaluate technical options, ensure security and governance compliance, and identify automation opportunities to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud and architecture experience.
• Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, scalability, security, networking, and integration.
• Ability to explain architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise cloud architecture solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes.
• Use GitHub for source control, infrastructure, development, and delivery workflows.
• Partner with senior architects, engineering teams, technology teams, and business stakeholders on architecture decisions.
• Evaluate different technical approaches and clearly communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions with senior architects and technical leaders.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud platforms and infrastructure.
