Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to join the Asset Management Engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will design and build backend microservices, own major parts of the asset inventory stack, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

This role focuses on processing billions of events daily, ensuring observability and reliability while accelerating security with AI-enabled workflows. Remote work is not indicated; position is on-site in Sunnyvale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in Golang, Kafka, Cassandra or similar.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with microservice architectures and multi-region deployments.
• Proficiency in debugging in high-traffic production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend microservices in Golang that process data across pipelines.
• Own a meaningful portion of the application inventory stack end-to-end.
• Collaborate across Cloud, UI, and Product teams to translate problems into increments.
• Maintain and improve services with testing, logging, and metrics.
