Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Architect to partner with customers from discovery through deployment and ongoing adoption of cloud/edge solutions.

You will collaborate with sales, product, services, and partners to drive innovation and customer success across multi-cloud environments. The role requires 8+ years in pre-sales or solutions architecture, hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, and IaC/CI/CD tooling, plus certifications

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or related engineering roles.
• Experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers.
• Certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
• Hands-on skills across Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, storage, AI, and IaC/CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and own the technical sales opportunity from discovery to deployment and adoption.
• Collaborate with sales, product, services, marketing and partners.
• Lead innovation, identify trends, and influence the global product roadmap.
• Build technical expertise and thought leadership for Akamai Cloud/Linode initiatives.
