Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability across cloud platforms and edge systems powering restaurant technology. You will define SLOs/SLIs, build observability, and drive incident reviews.

You’ll design scalable architectures on AWS, with Azure knowledge, and manage Kubernetes workloads including edge deployments. Strong automation, IaC (Terraform), and GitLab CI/CD experience are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure with 3+ years in SRE or platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS experience (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, IAM, RDS, S3).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Kubernetes/container orchestration expertise including edge/distributed deployments.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and CI/CD design.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with enterprise networking (switch configs, VLANs, troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
• Scripting in Python/Bash/Go or equivalent.
• Ability to define/operate against SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
• Linux CLI proficiency; Windows a plus for endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, design, and continuous improvement of cloud and edge infrastructure for restaurant technology.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs and use error budgets to balance reliability and speed.
• Build/maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms.
• Lead post‑incident reviews and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Architect scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS with Azure knowledge.
• Manage container workloads with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) including edge deployments.
• Develop IaC with Terraform and design serverless/container-based solutions.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and automate tooling.
• Collaborate across GRE, DevOps, and security; mentor engineers.
