Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join the Cloud Engineering team. You will design and implement scalable distributed services for Mist's cloud-based network configuration and reporting platform, owning end-to-end cloud services and data components.

You will work on real-time data pipelines, ML-driven workflows, and elastic search use cases, contributing to AI-driven enterprise networking at scale in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Typically 6 - 10 years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• 2+ years of experience building event-driven stream processing systems using Kafka, Storm, Flink, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant distributed services running in the cloud.
• Develop microservices and backend components using Python and Go, with Java for event-driven processing.
• Build and evolve real-time and batch data processing pipelines for AIDE, including event streams and ML-driven workflows.
• Write high-quality unit, integration, and functional tests to enable safe refactoring and CD.
