Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a passionate Software Developer to join the Cloud Engineering team, building the next generation of Mists cloud-based network configuration and reporting platform. You will design scalable distributed systems, own cloud services end-to-end, and lead data-oriented initiatives with Elasticsearch and AI-enabled workflows.

The role is hybrid with 2 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Requires 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Masters in computer science, CE, or related field.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience building event-driven stream processing with Kafka/Storm/Flink.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant distributed services running in the cloud.
• Develop microservices and backend components using Python and Go, with Java for event-driven processing systems.
• Build and evolve real-time and batch data pipelines for AI/ML workflows.
• Write high-quality unit, integration, and functional tests for safe refactoring and CD.
