Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Software Developer for Cloud & Distributed Systems. The role is hybrid, with an average 2 days per week in an HPE office, focused on building scalable cloud‑based network configuration platforms and AI‑driven workflows.

You will work on distributed systems using Python, Go, and Java, designing microservices and data pipelines, and advancing cloud services end‑to‑end with a strong emphasis on testing and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• 1+ years building event‑driven stream processing systems (Kafka, Storm, Flink) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed services in the cloud.
• Develop microservices and backend components using Python and Go; Java for event processing.
• Create real‑time and batch data pipelines for AI‑driven engineering workflows.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to enable safe refactoring.
