Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Software Developer to join the Cloud Engineering team and help build Mist's cloud-based network configuration and reporting platform. You will implement scalable distributed systems, own cloud services end-to-end, and contribute to AI-driven enterprise networking at scale.

This hybrid role requires on average 2 days per week in an HPE office, with emphasis on REST APIs, microservices, and data pipelines using Python, Go, Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Spark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• 1+ years building event-driven streaming systems using Kafka, Storm, Flink, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant distributed services running in the cloud.
• Develop microservices and backend components using Python and Go, with Java for event-driven processing.
• Build and evolve real-time and batch data processing pipelines for AI-driven workflows.
• Write high-quality unit, integration, and functional tests for safe refactoring and CD.
