Job summary

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build, secure, and optimize infrastructure for a DIA data modernization project. You will manage secure DevSecOps pipelines and containerized environments across development, test, and production in a fast Agile setting.

The role requires 16+ years of DoD/IC experience, TS/SCI with polygraph, and hands-on work with Kubernetes/OpenShift, GitLab/Jenkins, and NiFi. Expect on-site work in Reston, VA with compliance-driven responsibilities.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph is mandatory.
16+ years of systems administration or cloud engineering experience in secure DoD/IC environments; BS may substitute for 4 years.
Proven experience managing Linux-based cloud infrastructure, container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
Must maintain DoD 8570 compliance (e.g., Security+ CE).

Responsibilities

Environment Management: Maintain secure development, test, and production environments with rigorous separation of duties.
DevSecOps Automation: Implement automated CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, and automated deployments using agency tools.
Infrastructure Support: Support Oracle, NiFi, Python, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitLab, OpenShift, and Kubernetes stacks.
Disaster Recovery Operations: Implement and test backup/recovery to meet RTO <4 hours and RPO <1 hour.
System Monitoring: Establish automated alerting for outages and performance issues to ensure high availability.
