Job summary

GDIT in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph REQUIRED) to architect, build, manage, and monitor a cloud environment featuring Kubernetes workloads for mission‑critical software.

You will implement containerized applications, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and orchestrate tooling like Helm, Harbor, Nexus, Terraform, and Ansible. This role requires collaboration across systems engineers, software teams, data scientists, and project managers in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with container tools Docker/Kubernetes.
• IaC with Terraform/Ansible.
• Python, Bash, JSON, YAML scripting.
• Kubernetes deployment in on-prem or cloud environments.
• Helm deployment experience.
• Linux OS knowledge and shell scripting.
• PKI, TLS, and X.509 authentication familiarity.
• CI/CD deployment and monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and deploy Kubernetes workloads (containerized AI/ML solutions, data processing tools, apps).
• Stand up and manage CI/CD tooling (Helm, Kubernetes, Harbor, Nexus, Terraform/Ansible).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and project managers.
• Assist teams in understanding Kubernetes architectures for future capabilities.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical documentation and training materials.
