Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, secure, and maintain the infrastructure powering national security applications. You will own the full lifecycle of DevSecOps tools, ensuring integrity from OS to databases while addressing interoperability and patching in a secure government environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field and 4+ years of DevOps experience, with hands-on work in GitLab, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field with strong DevOps foundation.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or systems programming.
• Proven ability to design and operate DevSecOps infrastructure.
• Experience creating or modifying special‑purpose software for efficiency.
• Experience patching and certifying infrastructure in secure gov environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain OS, communications software, and utilities for mission‑critical environments.
• Develop and maintain database packages, compilers, and assemblers.
• Modify software to ensure maximum efficiency and integrity between systems.
• Lead design, deployment, testing, and certification of DevSecOps tools.
• Oversee daily operations and patching of OS, libraries, and components.
• Manage dependencies and resolve interoperability issues across the stack.
• Ensure security and reliability of the DevSecOps pipeline via monitoring.
• Address system bottlenecks by optimizing utilities and components.
