Job summary

Dexian is seeking a highly experienced DevOps/Release Train Engineer to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and support API services on container orchestration platforms.

The role requires collaboration with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments across environments. Communication of release status to stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure components.
• Practical experience deploying and supporting containerized APIs on orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience creating YAML-based CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Bicep; scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Execute production releases, validate system health post-deployment, and maintain rollback procedures.
• Configure and operate cloud-based databases, including container creation, index maintenance, and data management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, artifact publishing, and deployment across environments.
• Configure containerized deployments, services, ingress, health checks, and environment-specific settings.
• Ensure secure API connectivity through DNS, TLS, load balancing, and private endpoints.
• Implement least-privilege access controls and manage secrets using vault solutions.
• Integrate automated testing, security checks, and approvals into deployment pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts for infrastructure and API workloads.
• Troubleshoot deployment, container, and network issues; collaborate to resolve root causes.
• Maintain deployment documentation, environment configurations, and change records per security standards.
• Partner with developers to resolve infrastructure dependencies and prepare services for production.
• Enhance deployment reliability, system recovery, resource utilization, and cost efficiency via automation.
• Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to improve delivery practices.
• Support program execution, governance, and reporting with leadership.
• Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure components and IaC as needed.
