Job summary
Dexian is seeking an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer in Durham, NC to lead Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments. You will drive automation, observability, and DevOps/EngOps initiatives while ensuring security patches and uptime for critical server operations.
The role requires 5+ years of IT experience across server/storage infrastructure with strong Windows or Linux expertise and virtualization know-how (VMware/OLVM).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience across server/storage infra.
- Strong knowledge of Windows or Linux (RedHat/Ubuntu).
- Disk storage management with SAN/NAS/CAS is a plus.
- Experience with virtualization tech (VMware/OLVM).
- On-call coverage and incident management experience.
- Troubleshooting OS/hardware/performance issues; scripting and AI understanding.
- Experience with enterprise-level customers and application teams.
- Windows, VMware, and OLVM experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage Windows, Linux & virtualization operating systems.
- Oversee hypervisors and hardware infrastructure.
- Drive automation, observability, and DevOps/EngOps initiatives.
- Ensure security compliance and execute patching activities.
- Maintain environment stability and support critical server operations.
- Participate in incident management and change execution.
- Contribute to operational KPIs and metrics.
- Collaborate with global teams and vendors to resolve issues.
