Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support secure cloud and DevOps platforms across Azure and GCP, enabling enterprise‑scale software delivery.

You will own JFrog Artifactory/Xray, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly, drive platform modernization, security remediation, automation, and developer self‑service while ensuring HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations.
• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience building and managing CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, and GitOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes platforms including AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
• Experience administering and supporting enterprise DevOps platforms including JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly.
• Experience implementing software supply chain security, dependency governance, vulnerability remediation, and secure software delivery practices.
• Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration.
• Advanced scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI‑assisted tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale DevOps platforms and developer enablement initiatives.
• Experience operating within HIPAA, SOC2, or other regulated compliance environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, and GitOps.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
• Own enterprise DevOps platforms (Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, LaunchDarkly).
• Support Humana Military and enterprise teams with software supply chain security and governance.
• Implement vulnerability management and secure delivery practices.
• Support feature flag management with LaunchDarkly.
• Develop automation and self‑service tools using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and AI tools.
• Ensure HIPAA, SOC2 compliance across platforms.
• Configure and support enterprise build agents and runners across Linux/Windows/GitHub Runner.
• Provide L3 support, incident response, and on‑call coverage.
