Job summary

Humana seeks a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design and support secure cloud and DevOps platforms across Azure and GCP. You will own JFrog Artifactory, Xray, and Curation, drive platform modernization, and enable developer self-service with automation and AI-assisted tools.

You will implement secure software delivery, governance, and compliance (HIPAA/SOC2) while optimizing CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, and feature flagging with LaunchDarkly across the enterprise.

Qualifications

7+ years of IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations experience.
5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
Strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) experience.
Experience building and managing CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness and GitOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
Experience administering enterprise DevOps platforms (JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, LaunchDarkly).
Experience implementing software supply chain security, vulnerability remediation, and secure delivery practices.
Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration.
Advanced scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot).
Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness and GitOps.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
Own and administer enterprise DevOps platforms (JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, LaunchDarkly).
Support Humana Military and enterprise teams with software supply chain security and governance.
Implement vulnerability management and secure software delivery practices.
Design and support feature flag management with LaunchDarkly.
Develop automation and self-service solutions using PowerShell, Bash, Python.
Ensure HIPAA, SOC2, and regulatory compliance across DevOps platforms.
Configure enterprise build agents and runners across Linux/Windows and GitHub Runner environments.
Provide L3 support, incident response, and on-call duties for platform services.
Create engineering standards and templates for developer enablement within Agile delivery.
