Job summary

Firecrawl is building the infrastructure that turns the web into data. As Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will own the platform on Kubernetes, manage both cloud and on‑prem resources, and optimize for latency, reliability, and cost at web scale.

You’ll drive CI/CD, IaC, and observability while supporting security controls and enterprise compliance. Hybrid SF‑based role with on‑site requirements and generous equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infra.
• Experience operating stateful distributed systems at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud providers, and IaC.
• Focus on latency, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Security/compliance infrastructure experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for Firecrawl’s products.
• Run large stateful, high‑throughput workloads on Kubernetes with zero‑downtime upgrades.
• Own CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container deployments across the platform.
• Drive down cost per request as traffic grows and data volume expands.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and build enterprise controls (SSO, RBAC, audit logs).
