Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer in the United States to scale and maintain our mission-critical public safety platform. You’ll focus on reliability, automation, observability, and enabling engineers to deliver software efficiently.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security and cross-functional teams, leveraging AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to keep the cloud infrastructure scalable, secure, and highly available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud experience.
• Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with GitOps tooling like ArgoCD.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging.
• Ability to automate infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security.
• Build and maintain Terraform IaC for provisioning and management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, deployments.
• Drive GitOps with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Improve platform observability via monitoring, logging, alerts.
• Create internal tools to boost developer productivity.
• Partner with engineering to establish DevOps best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production support.
• Own infrastructure projects for long-term health of Mark43 platform.
