Mark43 is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will automate deployments, improve observability, and work with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to drive reliability and developer productivity.

Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, security, and compliance best practices.

• Improve infrastructure reliability, automate deployments, enhance observability, and enable engineering teams to develop and deliver software efficiently.
• Work with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to improve infrastructure and developer workflows.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds, testing, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability by implementing and optimizing monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity and reduce manual processes.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure performance bottlenecks and potential points of failure.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
• Own and drive infrastructure projects contributing to long-term scalability, stability, and health.
