Job summary

Axion seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and scale our cloud infrastructure. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automation, security, and reliability, enabling product teams to ship faster with confidence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• GCP experience with Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub or similar
• Kubernetes expertise in cluster management, networking, scaling and troubleshooting
• Terraform IaC—modular, reusable, production-grade
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tooling
• Strong observability background with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with bias toward action

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Axion's cloud infrastructure on GCP with high availability and security
• Own and evolve Kubernetes-based platform and Terraform IaC practices
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for speed and reliability
• Establish observability (logging, metrics, alerting, tracing) and lead incident response
• Define and track SLOs/SLIs for reliability and continuous improvement
• Contribute to security hardening and cost optimization across cloud environments
