Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to scale and maintain our mission-critical public safety platform. You will focus on building reliable cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and improving observability to empower engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to drive operational excellence. This role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation and collaboration with Security and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/Platform/SRE experience.
• Strong hands-on in AWS and/or Azure cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Familiarity with GitOps and deployment automation tools.
• Scripting or programming to automate infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds, testing, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability by implementing and optimizing monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity and reduce manual processes.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure performance bottlenecks and potential points of failure.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
