Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a senior cloud engineer to design, code, and test automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. The role maintains fully automated CD processes for Linux environments and develops build/deploy scripts.

The candidate will drive cloud strategy, implement security and IAM controls, and mentor developers on source control, CI, and testing within established tooling and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/OCI/Google Cloud) required
• Architect level certification a plus
• 12+ years IT experience with a mix of roles in cloud/IT
• 5+ years cloud engineering with vendor platforms
• 5+ years debugging Windows or Linux in admin/engineering context

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and enhancement of cloud services for internal and client use.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategies and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Develop and review network, storage, and compute designs for secure cloud ops.
• Train teams on IaC, CI/CD, architecture reviews, and standardize cloud infra.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into technical requirements.
