You will oversee automation, regular maintenance, and incident response while championing best practices and responsible resource stewardship.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and continuous improvement, with focus on security controls and cost optimization across cloud services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software to automate infrastructure operations and deployments.
• Assess solutions to meet business needs and evaluate outcomes.
• Minimize downtime by enforcing robust operations standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor performance and SLIs to ensure objectives are met.
• Respond to incidents for high-severity site reliability issues.
• Implement and enforce security controls for infrastructure and applications.
• Research best practices and explore improvements.
• Define and enforce cloud DevOps processes and standards.
• Develop and train SREs on technologies and best practices.
• Monitor and manage infrastructure and development costs.
• Engage with vendors to evaluate solutions and negotiate contracts.
