Job summary

Life.Church seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the integrity, performance, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud-based infrastructure supporting its applications and platforms. You will oversee software development for automation, perform regular maintenance, and respond to site reliability incidents.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, security controls, and cost stewardship while researching best practices and mentoring Site Reliability Engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
• Professional cloud engineering certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software to automate infrastructure operations and deployments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Respond to incident escalations and drive site reliability.
• Define and enforce DevOps processes and infrastructure standards.
• Provide training to Site Reliability Engineers on technologies and best practices.
• Interact with vendors to evaluate solutions and negotiate contracts.
