You will drive automation, set platform standards, and mentor engineers in a hands-on, senior IC role.

The role emphasizes designing for scale, enforcing security, and cost optimization, with opportunities to expand across multi-cloud environments and advanced analytics use cases.

Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS-managed databases in production.
• Hands-on Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of database performance at scale and data distribution.
• Ability to own end-to-end design and delivery of platform components.
• Familiarity with AI/analytics use cases and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud-native database platforms on AWS for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Build automated, self-service capabilities using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
• Define reusable platform patterns and guardrails across multi-cloud environments.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers.
• Evaluate emerging database technologies and run proofs of concept.
