Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with ETL/ELT and cloud environments.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field; 5 years substitution allowed.
• Prior experience with federal programs or VA/DoD health data a plus.
• Strong SQL/Spark SQL and data quality governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement patient-matching and record-linkage logic across multi-source datasets.
• Harmonize datasets across VA facilities and sources for analysis-ready data assets.
• Develop and maintain data flow docs, admin guides, and technical documentation.
