Qualifications

• Experience building/operating distributed data systems on cloud platforms.
• 5+ years delivering data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.
• 5+ years experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Advanced proficiency with ETL/data orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Matillion).
• Experience with Snowflake/Redshift/Databricks data warehousing/tools.
• 5+ years SQL/NoSQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery).
• Expertise in SQL and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• 5+ years programming (Python/Java/R/C/C#/Shell).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git/Jenkins/CI-CD/Jira).
• Understanding of big data, open source, and data streaming concepts.
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Be trusted advisor to customers with best practices, methodologies, and technologies to implement data engineering solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain modern data pipelines using cloud technologies.
• Partner with product owners and SMEs to analyze requirements and deliver sustainable engineered solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure the overall technical solution aligns with customer needs.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and share knowledge with key stakeholders.
