Job summary

CapTech Data Engineering consultants enable clients to build and maintain data systems that integrate data from diverse sources to empower decision-makers. We develop pipelines and prepare data for use by data scientists, analysts and other data systems, leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work with engineers, architects, and clients to craft data architectures that maximize value and efficiency, while following

Qualifications

• Experience delivering solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Ability to relate architectural decisions to business needs and client culture.
• Experience in design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
• Broad production database experience with SQL expertise, DB administration, and data pipelines.
• Ability to assess and use traditional and modern architectural components based on business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver production data pipelines and other data products.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines and data products using AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Advise clients on technologies and methodologies for efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Apply engineering best practices to solve complex data problems.
• Collaborate with end users, developers, and business analysts to maximize data value.
• Articulate architectural differences and trade-offs between methods.
