We seek a Data Engineer – Cloud to build and maintain data pipelines, prepare data for data scientists and analysts, and advise on cloud architectures.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers, architects, and clients, with work extending across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Experienced delivering solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions to business needs.
• Experience in the design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
• Broad production database experience, including SQL, database administration and scripting of data pipelines.
• Ability to assess and utilize traditional and modern architectural components based on business needs.
• Proven ability to deliver production data pipelines and other data products.

Responsibilities

• Developing data pipelines and other data products using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advising clients on technologies and methodologies for efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Utilizing engineering best practices to solve complex data problems.
• Collaborating with end users, developers, and analysts to maximize data value.
• Articulating architectural differences and advantages of different approaches.
