CapTech is seeking a Data Engineer – Cloud to design and maintain data pipelines, ingest data from multiple sources, and prepare data for data scientists and analysts. You will work with AWS, Azure, or GCP in a collaborative environment with developers, architects, and clients.

You’ll translate complex data needs into scalable cloud solutions, follow best practices, and help clients leverage data assets for decision making. CapTech offers flexible work arrangements and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Ability to map architectural decisions to business needs and client culture.
• Experience in design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
• Broad production database experience with substantial SQL expertise.
• Ability to assess traditional and modern architectural components based on business needs.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver production data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines and data products using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advise clients on technologies to ingest and process data quickly.
• Apply engineering best practices to solve complex data problems.
• Collaborate with end users, developers, and analysts to optimize data architectures.
• Articulate architectural trade-offs and advantages of different solution methods.
