Job summary

遠鉄システムサービス（株） is seeking a Senior Cloud Database Developer to own our enterprise data platform in a Washington, DC cloud environment. You will lead architecture for Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL, and related services, ensuring performance, security, and availability for federal decision-makers.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts, implement DevSecOps practices, and guide migrations using Airflow, Terraform, and IaC. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in database development/administration.
• 4+ years on cloud DB platforms (AWS) for data warehouses.
• Expert in Redshift and PostgreSQL/Aurora administration.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar orchestration.
• Advanced SQL with plan analysis and tuning.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Cloud DB security and HA/DR strategies.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud analytic data stores.
• Monitor performance, tune parameters, design indexing/partitioning.
• Oversee migration and replication of legacy data to cloud repositories.
• Write automation scripts for deployments and health checks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to refine schemas.
