Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer in Bethesda, MD to secure and harden cloud platforms across secure networks. The role focuses on cloud security in AWS, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and risk management.

The engineer will implement security controls, support ATO packages, and collaborate with government counterparts to ensure compliant operations. On-site requirement and Top Secret/SCI clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in cybersecurity or related field.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Secure cloud and cloud-native environments across secure enclaves.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability mgmt, and risk analysis for cloud systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for Kubernetes clusters and containers.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
• Develop and maintain ATO packages and support compliance with NIST/SP standards.
• Collaborate with compliance, engineering, and government counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance.
