InterSystems is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join an agile Software Automation team focused on cloud-hosted CI systems development and support. You will design and implement automated testing tools for a robust healthcare platform and manage cloud/local resources with automated build/test environments.

The role requires strong automation skills across Python/Java/JavaScript/PowerShell/Bash/TypeScript, 5+ years of experience, and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes expertise in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software automation or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, TypeScript.
• Experience developing automation tools, frameworks, or scripts for end-to-end testing, deployment, build/release, and environment provisioning.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation of build/test/deploy workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design reliable automation solutions.
• Willingness to learn new methodologies and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a technical specialist in an agile Automation team focused on CI systems development and support.
• Design and build testing tools for automated validation of a healthcare system.
• Manage cloud and local resources, including automated build/test environments.
• Provide support to cross-functional agile development teams.
• Develop testing strategies for performance, security, and interoperability.
• Identify functional and non-functional issues from design through validation.
• Perform other duties as directed.
