Job summary

Nutanix, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cloud Automation & Governance Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and operation of cloud platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will lead governance, FinOps, and operational automation, enabling scalable, secure, and efficient cloud delivery.

You will own enterprise automation, security guardrails, and multi-account strategies while mentoring engineers and guiding CI/CD, IaC, and platform tooling across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating cloud infra on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, Organizations, EC2, S3, and cross-account patterns.
• Hands-on GitOps, CI/CD, testing, and production change mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate maintainable cloud platforms and self-service workflows.
• Govern AWS multi-account architecture with security guardrails and cost visibility.
• Implement auditable GitOps pipelines with policy-as-code and automated testing.
• Lead IaC efforts using Terraform and manage multi-account state with safe changes.
• Drive FinOps, tagging compliance, and waste reduction across clouds.
