Job summary

TEGNA IT seeks a Hybrid Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize hybrid infrastructure spanning Nutanix/VMware, AWS, and Azure. You will drive modernization, governance, and automation to support enterprise applications and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Nutanix/VMware hyperconverged platforms (required) and AWS cloud services (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration or hybrid cloud transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize hybrid infrastructure across Nutanix/VMware, AWS, and Azure to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Lead modernization and governance initiatives to advance hybrid cloud maturity across on-prem and cloud.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure standards and governance policies across on-prem, AWS, and Azure environments.
