Job summary

PMAT is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer III to lead secure cloud architecture initiatives and modernization efforts supporting Navy and Department of War mission capabilities. You will guide cross-functional teams across AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, on-premises, and edge-to-cloud environments.

You will drive DevSecOps adoption, IaC, and security automation while ensuring compliance with RMF, DoW cloud standards, and Zero Trust. On-site in San Diego with mission-focused stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures to support warfighter needs and Navy operations.
• Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating tactical edge nodes and on-premises infrastructure.
• Architect solutions for multi-classification environments with cross-domain considerations and security requirements.
• Lead cloud deployments across GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, and containerized environments.
• Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines with CI/CD, IaC, security scanning, and automated deployment.
