Job summary

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in architecture.
Senior AWS cloud architecture experience; certification preferred.
Experience designing high-scale, low-latency, multi-region distributed systems.
Proficiency with IAM, RBAC/ABAC, and security architecture.

Responsibilities

Architect the platform for enterprise scale on AWS.
Evaluate scalability of backend; design caching tiers, multi-region, and federation.
Own the load-testing strategy and global responsiveness targets.
Ensure architecture meets security and access-control needs for sensitive content.
Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, and technical standards.
Guide and mentor engineers on cloud best practices and patterns.
Define non-functional requirements (availability, resilience, cost, observability).
Partner with security and compliance to meet enterprise controls.
