OpsGuru is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Architect to lead cloud-based application design and modernization for clients, within a professional services delivery team. You will shape architectures, guide deployments, and optimize performance and costs across modern cloud-native stacks.

Ideal candidates bring extensive software architecture experience, strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, and a proven ability to lead technical teams in an agile, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as software engineer or software architect.
• 2+ years experience as technical lead on projects or teams.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/ES6.
• NodeJS with Express, Socket.IO, or NestJS.
• UI experience with ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.
• Java frameworks such as Spring, Play, or Struts.
• C# with .NET 4 and .NET Core, ASP.NET.
• Python with Django, Flask, or Bottle.
• PHP with Laravel, Cake, Symfony, or Drupal.
• HTML/HTML5, CSS/SASS/LESS, SVG.
• Secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Help customers plan, design, build, and implement cloud-based apps in a professional services team.
• Create backlogs, design architectures, and deployment processes.
• Provide guidance on release processes and architecture patterns.
• Recommend optimizations for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Deliver projects with small focused teams in agile delivery.
