Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Architect (Multi-Cloud) for a 100% remote role in the U.S. The candidate will design strategies and reference architectures spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, focusing on portability, identity, networking, and platform offerings across clouds.

The ideal candidate has extensive multi-cloud experience, strong opinions grounded in production use, and the ability to lead architectural initiatives across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on architecture across at least two major cloud providers.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security across providers.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code across clouds.
• Experience designing federated identity and SSO across platforms.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Multiple cloud certifications across providers.
• Track record leading multi-cloud architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guardrails across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Design federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns.
• Architect cross-cloud networking including transit hubs and secure connectivity.
• Establish reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns across clouds.
• Define container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies across providers.
• Design data architecture for cross-cloud data movement and analytics.
• Drive multi-cloud observability and unified policy enforcement.
• Establish FinOps practices for multiple cloud providers.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity across clouds.
• Collaborate with security on multi-cloud security models and key management.
• Provide guidance on cloud-agnostic vs cloud-native patterns.
• Produce architecture artifacts and reference designs.
• Engage with providers to assess roadmaps and adoption proposals.
• Stay current with multi-cloud tooling and translate advances into actions.
