Responsibilities

Own cloud reference architectures and landing zones across AWS primary; define multicloud placement criteria.
Design and maintain paved road patterns and guardrails for teams to ship safely and quickly.
Escalation point for hard cloud design decisions; work with engineering teams as needed.
Embed zero-trust/security patterns into reference architectures and define resilience standards.
Own cloud cost architecture; bring FinOps discipline into design decisions with concrete cost implications.
Provide cloud architecture underpinning AI capabilities; partner with AI platform teams for scalable workloads.
Author cloud standards; contribute to governance and technology radar; evaluate new cloud-native services.
Translate trade-offs into clear narratives for senior leaders; coach engineers through reviews.
