Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a highly experienced engineering leader to guide cloud architecture for highly classified data. The role requires extensive DoD program experience and a current TS/SCI clearance, with oversight of DevOps practices and operational resiliency.

The successful candidate will drive architecture for mission-critical systems, ensuring compliance with DoD requirements while mentoring high-performing teams and delivering trusted analyses and solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Ten years’ experience in designing large and complex IT operations.
• Two years of DoD SAP engineering experience.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cloud architecture frameworks for systems processing highly classified data.
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance to cloud-based DevOps teams.
• Design and optimize applications for high availability and resilience.
• Apply deep engineering expertise to mission-critical programs with minimal supervision.
• Ensure architectural alignment with DoD requirements and classified environment constraints.
