Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Extensive experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, and large-scale distributed production services using virtualization and cloud-native technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems, Linux internals, virtualization technologies, hypervisors, and performance optimization.
• Experience with containers and related technologies (systemd, Docker, containerd, Kubernetes).
• Significant experience with Linux, Go, Python, Bash.
• Good understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS with experience in one or more public clouds.

Responsibilities

• Own the system design and implementation, guiding engineering while aligning with the big picture.
• Build proofs of concept to inform design choices and recommend technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and product architects to guide product direction.
• Contribute to the engineering roadmap with stakeholders across teams.
• Develop best practices, share knowledge, and mentor others.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment to drive innovation.
