Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and evolution of a cloud-native stack. You’ll architect end-to-end systems in AWS, set engineering standards, and drive major initiatives with a strong focus on reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.

The role requires at least 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, deep AWS expertise, and the ability to mentor engineers while partnering with product, security, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Mastery of C#/.NET ecosystem.
• Advanced SQL and relational databases.
• Extensive AWS experience across serverless patterns.
• Knowledge of data lakes and distributed data pipelines.
• Security protocols and cryptography fundamentals.
• Expertise in Git workflows, CI/CD, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement large-scale, serverless applications on AWS.
• Define the architectural vision for cloud-native, event-driven systems.
• Lead design for platforms, subsystems, and cross-cutting capabilities.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and tech leads.
• Drive reviews, debugging efforts, and operational excellence initiatives.
