Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Cloud Operations Administrator to manage, operate, secure, and deploy AWS GovCloud/SC2E/C2E components. You will collaborate with government and vendor teams to resolve incidents, oversee capacity and costs, and advance automation and compliance.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a STEM degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in infrastructure operations, and strong scripting and communication skills. On-site, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• BA/BS Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of operations experience providing application infrastructure support.
• Experience administering web-based applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with AWS EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, CloudFormation and CLI.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate, secure, and deploy AWS in GovCloud/SC2E/C2E components, accounts, services, and tools.
• Collaborate with AF DCGS Cloud Engineering Team and DAF CLOUDworks and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Operate and manage cloud-based infrastructure, capacity management, and cost oversight.
• Create processes to measure system effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Develop automation to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Plan capacity based on utilization metrics and upcoming projects.
• Maintain compliance of cloud environments and engage risk teams as needed.
• Participate in rotating 24x7 on-site support.
