Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect (Mid/Senior) to design, build, and optimize secure cloud infrastructures in AWS for DSCA programs. You will lead architecture, migrations, automation, and governance while ensuring RMF/FedRAMP compliance and DoD security standards.

You will implement IaC using CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform, manage IAM, VPC, encryption, and Zero Trust controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cost-efficient

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS cloud platforms, services, and best practices.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and CDK.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python or similar).
• Security concepts including IAM, VPC, encryption and Zero Trust.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Active Secret clearance and willingness to work East Coast core hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS.
• Lead cloud architecture, migrations, automation, and governance initiatives.
• Develop IaC with CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Ensure DoD RMF, FedRAMP compliance and robust security controls.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, cybersecurity, and stakeholders.
• Plan migrations from on-premise to cloud-native environments (AWS GovCloud preferred).
• Support containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes; enable CI/CD pipelines.
